Hematology is the study of blood in health and disease, including problems with clotting disorders, bleeding disorders, and blood count abnormalities. Dr. Anderson, Board Certified in Hematology, evaluates and treats conditions such as white and red blood cell disorders, platelet disorders, bleeding and clotting disorders, and hematologic cancers such as leukemia and myeloma. Infusion therapy for blood disorders run the spectrum from transfusions of blood and platelets, to chemotherapy and immunotherapy, all given locally in our Infusion Center at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
Hematology Infusion Services include, but are not limited to, iron, injectafer, gamma globulins, procrit, and prolea injections. Treatments and services can be performed close to home in our Infusion Center.
